Perspective : Diverse Voices In Print

September 14th - October 28th

Opening Friday September 13th 5.30pm

Plateau Printmakers are a collective of passionate artists who regularly gather to exchange ideas and explore innovative printmaking techniques. Our journey began with our first exhibition in 2016 at the Taupo Museum and Art Gallery, and since then, each member has continued to refine and evolve their unique style.

Many of us are proud members of the Print Council of Aotearoa New Zealand (PCANZ), actively participating in workshops and exhibitions that stretch across New Zealand and beyond. Our experiences span workshops throughout the UK, Barcelona, and even an artist residency in Tuscany, as well as global Zoom sessions with fellow printmakers. Individually, our work has been featured in national exhibitions, and as a collective, we’ve hosted events within the community to foster a deeper appreciation for the art of printmaking.

For the past three years, we’ve been active participants in Printopia: A New Zealand Festival of Print in Auckland, further showcasing our commitment to the craft.
